What originally began as a one-day service call to troubleshoot a piece of equipment in 2001 has turned into an ongoing long-term relationship for TechComp, with over 20 projects, including ongoing support & maintenance of  equipment at each of its seven plants throughout the country.  A sample of the projects TechComp has successfully delivered -

• Retrofit of Vacuum Forming Systems: The upgrade to the systems included controls, graphical user interface, recipe management system, and provided a historian and web-based reporting system for machine utilization and production reports. This project increased production of the forming machines by 125%, and improved overall equipment efficiencies by 65%.
• Design and Implementation of a Corporate Wide Emission Monitoring System: constantly monitored air pollution abatement systems, collected the associated data, and provided web-based reports to the EPA to identify said systems. An alarming system, which included remote email alerts, was also provided as part of the project.
• Multiple Automatic Trimming Systems: provided robot and encoder system to trim product to include controls upgrade, graphical user interface, recipe management system, and a historian and web-based reporting system for machine utilization and production reports. The project increased production of the forming machines by 40% and improved overall equipment efficiencies by 40%.
• Tank Resin Mixing Automation: operating in several locations, these mixing operations monitor tank levels, provide an accurate batching operation, and provide validation of the QA process of the plants. The system provides raw materials tracking along with manufacturing efficiencies and machine operations. Data for the system is historicized and reported through a web-based reporting system.
